Youthful notions of cedar chest, chocolate-covered cherries, juicy plums, and blackcurrant cordial waft from the glass, followed by suggestions of roses and camphor. The full-bodied palate has beautifully velvety tannins and a lively backbone supporting the generous black fruits, leading to a long and perfumed finish on this impressive wine.
