Medium intensity red, not as vibrant as some, and I get some high acids even on the nose, this lacks balance and is a little spiky. 20% new oak. Same owner as Château de Paradis, Bardet family in Vignonet, on clay soils.

Inside Bordeaux

Juicy, characterful black cherry, white pepper, rose petals, tomato leaf, soft finish, juicy and balanced. Good value. Vignobles Bardet, a confusing name, incidentally, for lovers of Franc Mayne, as this is a different owner with no connection.
