The 2022 L'Extravagant de Doisy Daene, 100% Sauvignon Blanc, is pale to medium straw in color. The nose erupts with vibrant grapefruit, lemonade, and lime cordial scents, leading to suggestions of clover honey, chamomile tea, and coriander seed with a waft of chalk dust. The palate is rich, concentrated, and decadent, with beautiful freshness and an epically long finish. An incredible achievement that Denis would be proud of.

L’Extravagant de Doisy Daene 2023 is 100% Sauvignon Blanc. It has a pale lemon-straw color and after a swirl or two, a mushroom cloud of grapefruit oil, lemon tart, and lime blossom erupts from the glass, giving way to nuances of lemon verbena, sea spray, and Marcona almonds. The palate is super-concentrated, unctuous, and sweet, matched by an amazing backbone of acidity, finishing very long and zesty. Yum!

L'Extravagant de Doisy Daene 2020 has 193 g/l of residual sugar and a pale lemon-straw color. It skyrockets from the glass with intense notes of preserved lemon, lime cordial, and grapefruit peel, leading to touches of acacia honey, mandarin peel, and jasmine. The super-sweet palate is completely coated with perfumed citrus fruit layers, offset by a racy backbone and a satiny texture, finishing with epic length and depth. Wow - so PURE!

The 2013 L'Extravagant de Doisy Daene is medium straw-gold in color. It charges out of the gate with honeyed lemon, dried apricots, and lime cordial scents, leading to wafts of acacia honey, toasted almonds, chamomile tea, and brine. The palate is thick, rich, and unctuous, with fantastic tension to balance and a very pure, citrusy finish.

Dette er ikke lett å overgå! Fantastisk aroma med vanilje og smak av honning. Nydelig kremete preg, og voldsomt lang. Finnes på Vinmonopolet i denne årgangen. Men, veldig dyr, dessverre 😔
