Dense, though a very natural, deep garnet colour. Clean nose. Medium intensity, secondary aroma characteristics. The wine smells of black currants, blackberries, strawberries, old leather, tobacco, faint pencil shavings, slight eucalyptus. Very pleasant. It smells straight up like old school Bordeaux. Fairly youthful, not overly so though. Would’ve guessed an older vintage blind for sure. Secondary taste characteristics. Tastes of blackberries, strawberries, black currants, tobacco, oak spices, cinnamon with earthy notes on the finish. 

This wine is dry with medium acidity levels. Very well integrated tannins, on the medium side, lovely structure. Medium alcohol levels, everything is is just dialled in balance here. Body; you guessed it, medium. A subtly complex wine featuring secondary spices and pure cab fruit. Grainy, sand-like texture. Long finish.
