The 2021 Finca Malaveina is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnatxa Negra (Grenache), and Cabernet Franc, coming from the closest vineyard to the estate’s castle. Sporting a medium to deep garnet-purple color, notes of juicy plums, blueberries, and violets jump from the glass, plus touches of spice cake and licorice. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers spicy black and blue fruit preserves flavors with a plush texture and lifted finish.
