This is excellent, the best vintage that I have tried from Mongravey. Supple texture, good Margaux typicity, enjoyable black cherry and rosemary spice, lovely lift, excellent quality. 12ha property in Arsac, owned by Régis Bernaleau. Also owners of Galland Moulis and Braude.

Inside Bordeaux

Medium plus intensity, spiced plum, mocha, sage, grilled coffee beans, this has silky textured tannins and lift on the finish. High oak impact but enjoyable. 91% in barrels for ageing, with 9% in amphora.

There is depth and width through the palate here, berry fruits that err towards high acidity, do not expect these to be gourmet, exuberant wines, but there is a lovely sense of forward motion here, and a mouth watering signoff. Estate located in Arsac.

Waves of campfire oak smoke on the nose, good quality dark fruit extraction, fresh lift on the finish, this is well balanced, dark spice notes, blackcurrant bud, savoury with restraint and grip, and plenty of tannins yet ready to drink in the next few years. Régis Bernaleau owner at this 12ha property in Arsac. 40hl/ha yield, 60% new oak for ageing.
