Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2023 Liversan skips out of the glass with notes of wild blueberries and juicy strawberries followed by hints of lavender, bay leaf, and graphite. The medium-bodied palate is delicately styled, with approachable tannins and a refreshing backbone, finishing with a red berry lift. The blend is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot.

Touch of reduction on the opening notes, this is pretty austere, with a punch of black fruits, and austere tannins. High Merlot in the vineyards right now, but replanting programme underway to move towards Cabernet Sauvignon. 25% new oak for ageing.

Inside Bordeaux

Medium intensity, lighter styled, easy to drink, soft berry fruits, finally placed tannins, well balanced and easy to approach. 33% new oak, 25% in stainless steel, with the rest in barrels of one and two years, 40hl/h yield, gravel, sand, loam soils over limestone. Antoine Moueix, Advini.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2020 Liversan requires a little swirling to bring out notes of bay leaves, cedar, and violets, leading to a cassis and kirsch-scented core. The medium-bodied palate is plush and delicate, with lovely freshness and a soft-spoken finish.
