Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2023 Vine Hill Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is closed and broody and the nascent stage, slowly revealing notes of damp soil, crushed rocks, and mossy tree bark, giving way to a core of juicy blackberries, red currant jelly, and black raspberries. The medium to full-bodied palate is taut and muscular, delivering firm, grainy tannins and well-knit acidity, finishing long and minerally.

The 2022 Vine Hill Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple colored. Fruit cake, plum pudding, and dried mulberries lead to hints of cedar, tar, and licorice on the nose. The full-bodied palate is generously fruity with a firm, chewy texture and a long, spicy finish.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2021 Vine Hill Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is quite shut down to start, needing a lot of shaking to bring out notes of crushed red and blackcurrants, fresh blackberries, and mulberries, leading to hints of pencil shavings, iron ore, and forest floor. The full-bodied palate is built like a brick house with a solid structure of firm, grainy tannins and seamless freshness supporting the intense black and red berry flavors, finishing very long and earthy. Love it!
