Beautiful aromatics, this is a gorgeous wine, with white peach, pear, lemon peel, capsicum, sage spices, gunsmoke, apple orchard. Extremely elegant and finessed, builds through the palate, a slow slow build that layers on grated ginger, lemongrass, white pepper, cold ash, gunsmoke... sublte layers that set it apart. Harvest 9 to 20 September. 3.05 pH. 45% new oak. Just 6.5% malolactic only on Sauvignon Blanc, with more lees stirring than in a normal year.

Skips out with vibrant notes of lime blossom, green apples, and fresh grapefruit with hints of pineapple and fresh pears. The light to medium-bodied palate delivers great intensity and tension with a silky texture and long tangy finish. Yum!

Great depth and freshness, fleshy nectarine and spiced pear, fennel and oyster shell, grilled oak and genersoity. Balances salinity and flesh, expertly judged. Harvest August 29 to September 6, 45% new oak for ageing. Co-fermented Muscadelle with Sauvignon Gris.

Don't expect a big production of the white in 2022, as they saw just 16hl/h yields, mainly because Sémillon had such tiny berries, with high skin to juice ratio making things intense and concentrated. Think mango, pineapple, lemongrass, lime and mandarin zest, with a supple texture, with a delicious, and necessary, kick of bitterness on the finish. There has been a migration towards cooler terroir for the whites, still in their own vineyards either in Pauillac or just over appellation boundary. 45% new oak, 100% whole bunch pressing, zero malolactic (which is not always the case in Mouton), 3.18ph with zero adjustment ('this is not even something we ever discuss'). Harvest August 22 to 30. Second full year of Jean-Emmanuel Danjoy as technical director across the Mouton wines.

Combines a rich intensity to the aromatics and flavours with grip and uplift that keeps things sculpted. A gorgeous wine that delivers layers of apricot, white peach and sage with juicy citrus and edges of liqourice root. 15% malolactic fermentation balances the freshness of the vintage and keeps it very much signature Aile d'Argent, as does the relatively high proportion of Sauvignon Gris. No Muscadelle in the blend from this vintage. 45% new barrels for ageing, harvest September 6 to 20.

The 2019 Aile d'Argent is composed of 61% Sauvignon Blanc, 38% Semillon and 1% Muscadelle. Baked apples, poached pears, and fresh hay waft from the nose, followed by hints of chalk dust and coriander seed. The medium-bodied palate is broad and savory with a racy backbone and toasty finish. 

Always a more exotic, richly textured style of Bordeaux white wine, and it suits the exuberance of the 2018 vintage. Still young at three years old, dripping with nectarine, apricot pit, saffron and orange peel. It's at a lovely stage right now, with the savoury clean-feeling slate and lime coming out clearly. Harvest from 30 August 30 to September 5, unusually no Muscadelle in this vintage due to the dry summer, and no malolactic fermentation carried out at any stage to keep feshness. Personally, I think it benefits from this.

Aprikos, fersken, ananas, mango, stikkelsbær, elegant sitrus frukter samt hint av vanilje. Sødmerik elegant frukt, med medium syre. Konsentrasjonen er ekstrem, med en lang finish.
