Enjoyable, with estate signature. Concentrated and intense without being overblown, clear spice and black cherry fruit, liquorice, cocoa bean, espresso, high tannin count, needs a few years in bottle to soften. 60% new oak.

Inside Bordeaux

Deep garnet-purple colored. Quite an oaky note to start, opening out to notes of stewed red plums and baked strawberries with hints of damp soil and tobacco. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is lightly chewy, lean, and uncomplicated with an abrupt finish.

Full of estate signature, and does a great job of mixing luxurious texture and inky colour with a surprising sense of restraint. It unwinds to show liquorice root, cocoa bean and espresso, touch of cigar box, along with damson and black cherry fruit. Good quality. Hubert de Boüard consultant.

This has balance and finesse, but more austerity than you find in Trianon in a typical vintage. Savoury redcurrant fruits, plenty of white pepper spice. Dominique Hebrard part-owner and director, Alizé Huit winemaker. 15hl/h yield, 70% new oak. Estate located in the Angélus sector of St Emilion.

Amateur

På nese duft av røde og mørke plommer, rørte bjørnerbær og solbær. Godt integrert fat, samt noe urtepreg og grønn paprika.

Medium +, modne tanniner og medium + syre. God fruktintensitet og lengde.
