This is eserved, austere but well constructed with plenty of potential, rose petals, orange peel, redcurrant and raspberry, insistent acidities that are mouthwatering rather than overpowering. Teycheney family owners, winemaker Nicolas Géré, consultant Jean-Claude Berrouet and his son Jean-François, estate located in St Etienne de Lisse.  Harvest 25 September to 10 October. 4.7% new oak. Indigenous yeast. Teycheney family.

Inside Bordeaux

Cassis and bilberry fruit, clear lemongrass and slate texture, acidity a little unresolved, with bitter fennel on close of play. Same owner as Ch Fleur de Lisse, in the commune of St Hippolyte.

Vines located on gravel-sand soils, so not surprising that the alcohol has climbed higher. This has great structure, plenty of damson, cocoa bean and espresso notes, not quite the depth through the palate of sibling Fleur de Lisse, but both are successes and can age.  1.5ha, 10% new oak, Jean Claude Berrouet and Jeff Berrouet consultants.
