Deep garnet-purple colored. Kirsch, raspberries, and mulberries scents slowly emerge from the glass with notes of dried herbs and damp soil in the undercurrent. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is fragrant and soft-textured with well-knit acidity and an earthy finish.

Earthy, austere on the opening, softens to show creamy blueberry fruits, wave of smoked earth and violets. Arconian family owners, vineyard located in a quality sector of Néac, successful in the vintage. 

Inside Bordeaux

Black cherry and raspberry fruits, bitter fennel and anis, perky and with lift, this is an enjoyable wine that has good appellation typicity, a little closed on the finish. Vignobles Arconian, 45 year old vines, harvest September 21 to October 5.

A blend of 96% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Malbec, the 2022 Canon Chaigneau is deep garnet-purple in color. It sings of Morello cherries, juicy raspberries, and blackberry pie, plus hints of tobacco leaf and wild sage. The medium to full-bodied palate is bright and breezy, with chewy tannins and a lifted finish.

The 2021 Canon Chaigneau is medium garnet-purple in color. It gives notes of raisin cake, dusty soil, new leather, and balsamic. Medium-bodied, the tannins are chewy and the fruit is thin, finishing hard and a tad bitter.

Unfussy but well-structured blackberry and black cherry fruits. Black truffle and bitter black chocolate sit against the fruit, everything a little austere but with good structure.
