This has sleek and silky fruit, and careful extraction. There is austerity, but here it feels earned and like it is setting up the bones of the wine for ageing. Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2023 Gracia hits the ground running with vibrant notes of kirsch, mulberries, and wild blueberries leading to wafts of lilacs and fragrant soil. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers a velvety texture with compelling tension and bags of expressive fruit, finishing long and earthy.

Concentrated, intense, clear tannic hold and architecture, this has some real astingency but also grip and character, and it's hard to resist the way they grab hold of the vintage and wrestle it to the ground, while always staying in control. Bitter chocolate, liqourice, slate, chalky tannins, high intensity maintains the volume from beginning to end, great estate signature, makes you smile. 80% new oak, 20% stainless steel vats.

Ruby red colour, inky reflections, dark cassis fruits, chalky tannins, good complexity, a little tight and closed in on itself, but there is potential here, and skilful winemaking. Tasted twice.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2020 Gracia charges out with bold notes of baked black plums, fruitcake, and blackberry preserves, leading to an undercurrent of licorice, roses, and cinnamon stick. The full-bodied palate is opulent, spicy, and decadently fruity, with a lively backbone and plush tannins, finishing with great persistence.

The 2019 Gracia is a blend of 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep garnet-purple in color, it features tantalizing scents of dark chocolate, black cherry compote, and blueberry pie with touches of cedar, violets, and star anise. The medium to full-bodied palate has a rock-solid structure of grainy tannins with bold freshness to counter the muscular fruit, finishing with great length. Temptingly gorgeous now, give it 3-5 more years in the cellar and enjoy it over the followed 15 to 20-years+.

The 2014 Gracia is medium to deep brick in color. Scents of baked plums and fruitcake give way to sauteed herbs, unsmoked cigars, and scorched earth notes on the nose. The palate is medium to full-bodied and nicely mature, with plush tannins and a long savory finish.

The 2013 Gracia has a medium garnet-brick color. Notes of baked plums, dried mulberries, and raisin cake waft from the glass, followed by hints of sweaty leather and cigar box. The palate is medium to full-bodied, rich, and lively, with a great core of dried fruit layers and a fragrant finish.
