Soft raspberry and redcurrant fruits, softened with high levels of grilled oak and liqourice, easy going, easy drinkability. No chaptilisation, other than on three small plots down and very late harvest from September 25 to October 9, 3.68ph, 20% malo in new French oak. 

Inside Bordeaux

Deep garnet-purple colored. Pops from the glass with ready-to-go scents of fresh red plums and wild strawberries, plus hints of sautéed herbs and tar. The medium-bodied palate is savory and refreshing with lightly chewy tannins and an herb-laced finish.

Deep colour, deep aromatics, a little tarry, rich damson fruits, campfire and autumnal berries, combines impact with accessibility. 20% new oak, harvest September 15 to October 2. Not being sold En Primeur because frosted so very little production, 16hl/ha.

Intense colour, and the intensity continues on the palate, which fully ripe sun-sweetened damson and black cherry fruit, laced with kirsch and crème de cassis. From 45ha of vines, with a large part coming from next to Monbousquet. One of the biggest commercial wines in St Emilion at 400,000 bottles, 3.67ph. Harvest September 15 to October 6, a late finish in the vintage. 20% malolactic and ageing in new French oak, rest of fermentation in stainless steel. One for lovers of an exuberant style.

A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, the 2021 Teyssier is medium garnet-purple in color. It rolls out of the glass with evocative scents of black raspberries, redcurrant jelly, kirsch, and cinnamon stick, with hints of crushed rocks and wild sage. Medium-bodied, the palate has a soft, fine-grained texture and delicate, savory flavors with well-knit freshness, finishing with a peppery lift.

White pepper spice, damson, cocoa bean, plenty of intensity, but no need to wait to begin drinking. 3.5ph, harvest 1-8 October. Low yields after mildew.

Sappy raspberry fruits, earthy with tight tannins. Easy to drink, no need to wait for this. Great expression of clay-limestone slopes in this estate located just outside of the St Emilion borders.
