Gives up scents of juicy pears, grapefruit, and Golden Delicious apples with touches of cedar and wet slate in the background. The light-bodied palate is crisp and clean with intense citrus flavors and a long chalky finish.

Pineapple, citrus, this has some pretty grippy acidity overall, well structured, slim, elderflower and apple blossom aromatics, good quality. Harvest 6 to 14 September. 70% new oak.

Inside Bordeaux

Notes of struck flint, lemonade, and lime leaves pop from the glass of the 2023 Couhins Blanc, followed by hints of ripe pears and fresh pineapple. The medium-bodied palate is crisp and vibrant, with a slightly reductive (minerally) character coming through on the finish. The blend is 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Sauvignon Gris.

A blend of  93% Sauvignon Blanc and 7% Sauvignon Gris , the 2022 Couhins Blanc sings of lime leaves, freshly squeezed lemons, and green apples with hints of sea spray and wild thyme. The medium-bodied palate has a satiny texture and racy backbone supporting the vibrant citrus layers, finishing zesty.

Enjoyable En Primeur, and this continues to deliver in bottle, with pink grapefuit, citrus, apricot pit, great tension and lift, with gentle pulses of slate minerality. One to look out for. Lees stirring while ageing in barrel, after fermentation in a mix of barrels, tuns and stainless steel tanks.

Vibrant green-gold in colour, cut grass sharpness with a ton of juicy citrus and pineapple. This is intense, with plenty of momentum, but a little sharp. Owned by INRA agricultural body, first vintage in organic conversion. Diam cork closure.
