The nose is fruity in medium intensity with pears, nectarine, lemon and red grapefruit. With air it also comes litchi. It is very mineral with limestone and salt, and there is green grass. The palate is lean, clean, acidic and very mineral. The finish is medium long, fruity and mineral. The wine is complex to be in this price segment. Most important, however, is that it gives a perfect pairing to fresh oysters with preserved salt water. That combination is very complex and exciting. When it comes to wine for oysters, there is nothing that paires better than a clean Muscadet. 89 points for the wine, and 95 points for the combination.
