Mørk og rustikk, bløt og funky beitemark og vanilje i nesa. Krekling, treverk og solbær på tunga. Fin syre, men noe litt for prominent eik og overmoden frukt gir ikke maks balanse dessverre. Likevel en stor og kompleks vin, med mye jord og skogstoner, og med god lengde.

Amateur

Clear, medium garnet colour. Almost a orange tint right before the rim? Medium intensity on the nose. Primary aroma characteristics. Smells of red cherry, sour cherry, strawberry and sweet vanilla. Youthful. Primary taste characteristics. Tastes of red cherry, cranberry, some dried fruit and cola.

This wine is dry with a medium(+)-acidity. Velvet and smooth tannins, somewhat present. Medium alcohol. Follows with a medium body, same intensity on the flavour intensity really. Nicely balanced wine with a calmer profile perhaps. Does not scream elegance nor does it have much complexity. A fine drinking wine none the less though. Long.
