Tett rød på farge, ren, men hint av murstein. 
Intens og ekspressiv på duft med mørke bær, lett fat og lakris. 
Fruktig og krydret på smak, fine lett tørrende tanniner og lang syrlig, fruktig lengde. 
En ung vin med bra balanse, friskhet og flott struktur. En vin med kraft og fylde uten å bli tung.

Mellomrød rubin farge. Vegetal nese med dufter av ferske urter, mørke bær, fersk kjøttsaft, pepper, og lett tobakk. Meget god syre med noe avslipte tanniner. Middels pluss lengde. Meget god til indrefilet med peppersaus. Fortsatt en ung vin som kan ligge.

Det kan være so dårlig stemning i hjemmet som det er mulig so lenge jeg sitte med et glass av denne her!

Deep ruby. Pronounced intensity on the nose: Floral (jasmine). Red fruit (cranberry, red cherry). Black fruit (blackcurrant, blueberry, black plum). Herbaceous (paprika). Herbal (oregano). Spice (white pepper, liquorice). Oak (cigar box). Maturation (raisin, grilled plum, cassis).
Palate is dry with high acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol and full body.
Flavours: Red fruit (cranberry, red cherry). Black fruit (blackcurrant, blueberry, black plum). Herbaceous (paprika). Herbal (oregano). Spice (liquorice). Ripeness (dried fruit, fruit driven). Maturation (raisin, grilled plum). A long finish.

Konsentrert frukt, med hint av modne aromaer. Plomme, blåbær, treverk og urter. Sødmefull og bløt, men kraftig sammensatt frukt. Luftet 3 timer

The nose is fruity and complex. It is ripe fruit with blackberries, crow berries, and cooked strawberries and cherries. There is also wet forest floor, leather, exotic spices, and some tea. It is complex and exciting. The palate is fruity, spicy, quite fresh, and moderately acidic. The finish is long, structured and surprisingly acidic. This is starting to be nice to drink now, but it will probably get even better in 10 years. It gave a nice pairing with Cote de Beauf from Prima Jæren. This was also the best young vintage (after 2000) in a Beaucastel vertical we had in 2016. Now it is even more appealing and closer to a pleasant drinking window. 95 points.

Jan '22: The nose is fruity with raspberries, strawberries, blackcurrants and cranberries. There are also wet red roses, carnations, forest floor with moss, and pepper. It is complex and appealing. The palate is medium-bodied, intensely fruity and very acidic. The finish is long fruity and acidic. It has developed very positively since I last tasted it 4 years ago. Now it is leaner and much more elegant. 94 points.

Rubin, rust på farge, klar og ren. 
Svisker, mørk frukt, fat på duft. 
Lett i kroppen, flott frisket og laaang på lengde. 

Begynnende brun-rød. Litt dempet lukt først, åpnet seg mer etter noen timer. Litt portvin duft, var nok på grensen. Intens, rund smak av mørke bær. Veldig lang
