Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2020 d'Agassac comes bounding out with ready-to-go notes of juicy blackberries, ripe black cherries, and fresh raspberries, plus wafts of cedar and pencil lead. The medium-bodied palate is taut with black and red berry flavors, supported by grainy tannins and finishing refreshing.

This is good, powerful, deep black and blue fruits, silky tannins, rich cocoa bean, liqourice, espresso, rosemary, good length and grip, enjoyable stuff.

Inside Bordeaux

Deep garnet-purple colored. Needs a little coaxing to bring out scents of black plums and fresh raspberries, plus nuances of cedar chest and spice box. The medium-bodied palate is refreshing and soft with juicy red and black fruit flavors and a spicy lift on the finish.

the 2023 d'Agassac is composed of 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 51% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, offering a deep garnet-purple color. Fragrant wafts of kirsch, fresh red currants, and lavender on the nose soon lead to suggestions of wild sage and crushed rocks. The medium-bodied palate is wonderfully soft and delicate with lovely harmony and a bright, refreshing finish. The wine is aging for 12-15 months: 50% in new oak barrels, 40% in cuves (tanks), and 10% in amphorae.

A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot, the 2022 d'Agassac is deep garnet-purple in color. It tumbles from the glass with ready-to-go notes of stewed red and black plums, blackcurrant pastilles, and forest floor, plus a touch of violets. The medium-bodied palate is lively and energetic, with approachable grainy tannins providing support, and lovely purity of fruit on the finish.

Rich plum colour, as with En Primeur you can expect lean and savoury blue and black fruits right from the first moments. Has a sappy charm to it, with clear spice, but it lacks momentum through the palate. 40% new oak.

Flint and gunsmoke reduction on the first nose, clears to show a lovely density to the well-crafted blackberry fruits. Good quality, a little closed and subdued right now. On clay soils near to La Lagune. 40hl/ha yield, 60% new oak.
