Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2022 de Chambrun delivers notions of baked black plums, boysenberry preserves, and forest floor with a waft of aniseed. The medium to full-bodied palate is muscular, with a pleasantly chewy texture and spicy lift to the finish.

Well located estate on the Pomerol side of Lalande, this has blackberry and blueberry fruits, gentle tannins. The team here has carefully kept their foot off the extraction, and you get fresh but balanced acidities, nothing biting or out of place, with tannins that build towards chewy on the finish.

Inside Bordeaux

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2020 de Chambrun rolls out with open-knit notes of juicy plums, boysenberries, and redcurrant preserves, followed by hints of dried roses and unsmoked cigars. The medium to full-bodied palate is coated with fragrant black fruits, supported by chewy tannins and finishing firm.

Powerful, smoked caramel and grilled vanilla. Fresh raspberry and black cherry fruits, plenty of freshness running through. 75% new oak.
