The 2019 Joanin Becot is a blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc. Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, it has fragrant notes of dried roses and fertile loam over a core of wild blueberries and black raspberries with a waft of underbrush. Mediumto full-bodied, soft, and easy-going on the palate, it has a savory finish.

Vibrant plum colour, Merlot on clay profile, meaning round, soft and gourmet on the opening, giving a jolt of limestone chalk and pumice stone through the mid palate. Like this enormously, combines crunchy blue and red fruits with richer cocoa bean and liqourice. 25% new oak barrels for ageing, plus 25% one year oak, and the rest split between stainless steel vats and oak casks. Harvest September 25 to October 4.

Inside Bordeaux

A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, the 2022 Joanin Becot has a deep purple-black color. It races out of the glass with vibrant notes of kirsch, black raspberries, and juicy black plums, leading to nuances of cinnamon stick, star anise, and dusty soil. Full-bodied, the palate is plush and soft-spoken, with lots of elegant, spicy accents and a fragrant finish.

The 2018 Joanin Becot is deep garnet-purple in color. It offers black cherries, warm blackberries, and stewed plums, with hints of dried herbs and pencil lead. Medium to full-bodied, it is lively in the mouth, with chewy tannins and restrained fruit, and an herbal lift on the finish.
