This is one of my favorites in Rioja, and especially 2001 and 2004 are brilliant. It is therefore exciting to taste 2015, since it should also be very good. The nose is fruity with cherries, blackberries, sweet strawberries and crow berries. There is also brown caramel, wet soil and bark, and resin. It is complex and exciting. The palate is medium-bodied, intensely fruity and acidic in fine balance. It is primary, yet very appealing now. The tannins are noticeable but fine-grained and elegant. The finish is long, fruity and acidic. It's beautiful now, but will be amazing in 10 years. 95 points.
