Castell d'Encus Thalarn 2018.

This wine is deep ruby.

On the nose it has pronounced intensity with aromas of red fruit (red cherry, tomato), black fruit (blackberry, blueberry, black cherry, black plum), herbaceous (paprika, blackcurrant leaf), herbal (mint, bay leaf), spice (white pepper, liquorice), maturation (prune, cooked plum, mushroom). 

On the palate this wine is dry with medium(+) acidity, high tannins and medium alcohol. With full body and pronounced flavour intensity. Flavours of red fruit (red cherry), black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry, black cherry, black plum), herbaceous (paprika), herbal (mint, dried herbs), spice (black pepper, liquorice), fruit driven, juicy, maturation (prune, cooked plum). 

A long finish and suitable for bottle ageing.
Quality is very good.
