Elegant og taktfast kompleks nese med tydelig mineralitet og lett ristede toner. Fruktdrevet, men med klassiske lagringsaromaer fra Chardonnay: ristet kokos, lett kaffe og moden sitrus. I munnen rik, men samtidig stram og fokusert, med flott balanse mellom struktur og frukt. Smaksbildet følger nesen med ristede og florale toner, kalkete mineralitet og rik, moden Chardonnay-frukt. Lang, presis og svært harmonisk avslutning.

En eksepsjonell Comtes som kombinerer rikdom, presisjon og stor lagringsverdighet.

Sommelier

Nå i begynnelsen av sitt drikkevindu og viser en fantastisk energi og presisjon. Den fremstår stram og elektrisk som er drevet av en livlig syre.

Duft av fersk sitron, grønne epler og grapefrukt. Gjæringspregede toner av nybakt brioche, knuste mandler og en tydelig, krittaktig mineralitet. Med litt tid i glasset dukker en flott påbegynnende kaffenote opp. Smaken er fokusert og intens med en skarp, men likevel kremet mousse. Ettersmaken er lang, pur og saltpreget.

Denne drikker glimrende nå for dem som setter pris på friskhet og spenst, selv om den fortsatt er ungdommelig. For meg vil utvikle ytterligere kompleksitet og begynne drikkevinduet de neste 5-10 årene. Dette er en vin med virkelig potensiale

Bright light golden colour with vivid fine bubbles. Very fine toastiness on the nose, almond, fresh nuts, ripe citrus, fresh peach with stony and floral hints, certainly high quality Chardonnay with fine autolytic notes of brioche, fresh butter and nougat. The palate is nicely firm and structured in an elegant style with a succulent acidity, citrus tinged yellow fruit and invigorating acidity, and a long and grippy finish. Very fine potential.

En klassisk Champagne i drikkemoden alder på nesen - kjeks, gjær, brioche osv men også tørket aprikos, epleskall. På munn har den en strålende fylde, høy syre, en klar sødme. Langt mer fruktdominert, m+ intensitet av overmodent rødt eple, noe frukt ala appelsin - noe tropisk? Stor dybde i smaken, og synes sødmen her både gir munnfølelse og egentlig matcher aromaene fint. En utrolig behagelig vin - drikkes for sjelden. PS: Kjøpt til halv pris av polet på nærbutikken utenfor Nice. Det finnes gode kjøp her og der…!

Gyllengul, fine små bobler og behagelig mousse. Nedfallsfrukt, bakte sitroner og gjærbakst. Knallbra lengde. Deilig!

The nose is fruity with yellow and slightly green apples, and it is citrus like mandarin. The autolysis is clean and with bun dough. It is incredibly appealing and elegant. The palate is lean, but also velvety and silky. It is an intense fruit and a nice balancing acidity. 2004 can often be a little green, but there are no signs of that here. The finish is long fruity and acidic. It is perfect to drink now, but also has a long future. 96 points. // Sep '21: The nose is silky and elegant. It is intensely fruity with green apples, apricots, tangerines and oranges. It is a blend of green and tropical fruits. It is mineral with shale and salt. The autolysis is clean and very elegant with bread dough. The palate is light, silky, creamy, intensely fruity, acidic, mineral and incredibly elegant. It is complex and balanced. The finish is long and complex. This must be among the best Champagnes in this vintage, and at least the best I have tasted. 96 points.

The nose is light, airy and incredibly elegant. It is intensely fruity with yellow and green apples and piel de sapo.

The autolysis is fantastically elegant with coffee and brioche. The palate is porous and light, and intensely fruity. It is mineral and there is high acidity. It is beautifully balanced. The finish is very long and complex. 

This is really one of my favorite Champagnes. TW98

Pale yellow, stunning nose with a predominance of Chardonnay - pine nuts, almond, ripe citrus, white flower and minerality, the palate is beautifully structured with ripe yellow fruit supported by bright acidity, gently roasted notes and a firm mineral finish, very long finish, a high level of complexity, great stuff, still slightly on the young side, should develop really well.
